This is a wonderful beach community. There are no condos in the area so it is such a great relaxing environment. The beaches are never really crowded but you will meet other people if you stroll on the beach. These are some of the only pet friendly beaches in Florida. The whole area is very pet friendly. We even have a doggie beach shop in town. The bay just around the corner is great for scallop fishing and there are lots of great parks in the area with pristine beaches. There are 4 stables that rent horses to ride on the beach. We have light houses, a conservatory to learn about sea turtles and just a great old time vacation feel.There is not a lot of commercialism here. Almost everything is locally owned and we don't have chain stores
