Our Barnwood cabin is located in a peaceful mountain setting, with a creek that runs by just off the concrete patio. It is just a couple miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, and is 15 miles from the Skyline Drive and Shenandoah National Park. Barnwood is convenient to Waynesboro, Staunton, and Charlottesville. It is also close to Wintergreen Ski Resort and Sherando Lake, a 24 acre lake that is a recreation are of the George Washington National Forest. There are many hiking trails close by, as well as scenic drives. There are so many things to see and do, including horseback riding, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, fishing, exploring historical sites, and visiting museums.
