Dogs are welcome in most parks as long as the dog is on a leash. Bike and horseback riding trails may not allow dogs for safety reasons. Dogs are not allowed in stores, food service areas, bathhouse, pool or swimming areas. Dogs can not be left unattended and will be confiscated if left in a hot car more than 30 minutes.
Chewacla State Park offers a variety of trails for you to explore with your pup. With loop trails that take less than 30 minutes to complete and out-and-back trails that take more than an hour, this park offers something for every hiking ability.
