Dogs are welcome in most parks as long as the dog is on a leash. Bike and horseback riding trails may not allow dogs for safety reasons. Dogs are not allowed in stores, food service areas, bathhouse, pool or swimming areas. Dogs can not be left unattended and will be confiscated if left in a hot car more than 30 minutes.
Gulf State Park’s two miles of beaches greet you with plenty of white sun-kissed sand, surging surf, seagulls, and seashells, but there is more than sand and surf to sink your toes into. Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail- 25 miles of paved trails for walking or biking. Rent a bike from the camp store.
