Dogs are welcome in most parks as long as the dog is on a leash. Bike and horseback riding trails may not allow dogs for safety reasons. Dogs are not allowed in stores, food service areas, bathhouse, pool or swimming areas. Dogs can not be left unattended and will be confiscated if left in a hot car more than 30 minutes.
Offering more than 14 miles of trails, Monte Sano State Park offers plenty of hiking opportunities for you and your pup to enjoy. Just keep Fido on a leash. Dogs are welcome in the campsites and in two of the cabins for an additional fee.
