This pristine 2100-acre park preserves the sites of Alabama's largest Civil War battle and other historic sites. The park is a stop on the Alabama Gulf Coastal Birding Trail and the Civil War Discovery Trail. Leashed dogs are welcome on the 12 miles of trails.
