Take a hike with your dog at North Mountain Preserve in Phoenix, Arizona to soak in the beauty of the desert. There are several different trails that you can take ranging in difficulty, so there is something for everyone. Trails may be steep and narrow, so watch your footing- these rocks are sharp. After your hike, enjoy a picnic at one of the covered picnic areas and check out the exhibit hall in the visitor center. Dogs must be leashed at all times. Make sure to bring plenty of water both for yourself and for Fido.
