The grounds of Powhatan Historic State Park are dog-friendly, but dogs aren't allowed inside the buildings themselves. You and your leashed pup can wander around the grounds of the five historic buildings together. While you're in the area, you can check out two other state parks, Lake Charles and Davidsonville, that are located within 15 miles of Powhatan Historic State Park.
