Wright's Field is 230 acres of rolling grassland studded with oaks. There are no designating signs off the streets; one has to look for the open field. Trails are unmarked, but one can meander around this open space and create loop hikes of two, three miles. This is a popular area for equestrians and dog walkers as well as trail runners. There is no water available so bring your own! Park along South Grade Road from the main throughway and continue on for about a mile, or park at the Joan MacQueen middle school when school is not in session. The land is maintained by the Back Country Land Trust
