Grand View Point Trail is a moderately easy, 6-mile hike in San Bernardino National Forest that will take about 3 hours to complete with Fido. For a shorter hike you can take Mill Creek Road, which turns into Forest Service Road 2N10/Skyline Drive, to a point just below the summit where the trail passes over the road.
