Grays Peak Trail is a moderately easy, 7-mile hike in San Bernardino National Forest that will take about 3.5 hours to complete with Fido. This trail is on the north side of the lake and will actually lead you to the backside of the mountain where water views disappear. However, losing the view of the water is worth the peace, quiet, and open vistas that take its place.
