Admiral William Standley State Recreation Area is a pet-friendly state park at an elevation of 1,700 feet. Located near the headwaters of the south fork of the Eel River, you and Fido will discover 45 acres of giant redwoods to wander around, or pee near, Fido, not you. Additionally, this is a great spot for salmon and steelhead fishing and the surrounding area is loved by hikers and picnickers alike.
