Dogs are allowed on-leash at the Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park. Although they aren't allowed to join you on the trails, pets are permitted at picnic areas. The park itself is just one square mile, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in beauty. This sublime redwood forest is full of big trees and is still relatively under the radar, so ideal for people trying to beat the crowds of other parks. The campground is open all year round and the day use area is open from sunrise to sunset.
