Dogs are welcome on leash at MacKerricher State Park. Unfortunately, pets are prohibited on Virgin Creek Beach, the northern half of Ten Mile Beach, the Seal Rocks harbor seal pup nursery area, and the Surfwood Walk-In campground. You should be able to hang out with Fido at most other areas of the park. One of the most popular things to do is to camp for a few nights. The campgrounds are full of lush wild gardens, some of which overlook the sea. You should contact MacKerricher State Park for opening times on the days you are looking to visit.
