Richardson Grove State Park is pet-friendly. This area was declared one of the first redwood parks in the country in 1922 and has been a popular destination ever since. Over the years, the park has grown to a size of 1,800 acres. The larger trees in the area stand at a monstrous 300 feet tall. You and Fido can camp and picnic in the area, although most of the trails are off limits to pet owners. The Huckleberry and Madrone campgrounds are open all year round.
