Dogs are welcome at the picnic, camping, and communal areas of San Luis Reservoir State Recreation Area. Located in San Joaquin Valley near historic Pacheco Pass, the three lakes in the area are popular for folks who are boating, board sailing, camping, and picnicking. Fido must be kept on a leash under six feet for the duration of their stay at this recreation area and dogs are also prohibited on North Beach. San Luis Reservoir State Recreation Area is open every day of the year from 6am to sunset.
