Hollister Hills State Vehicular Recreation Area is a pet-friendly destination for motorcyclists, 4-wheelers, picnickers, and campers in the Gabilan Mountains near San Jose. Fido can join you on a leash on the 5 miles of trails located at the end of Madrone camp for hiking, mountain biking, bird watching, and checking out the spring wildflowers. As well as these five miles of trails, there are 13 miles of dog-friendly trails at the Mudstone Ranch, a non-motorized section of the park. The park is open from October 1st through May 31st.
