Dogs are welcome at Turlock Lake State Recreation Area. You can bring your leashed pup to this beautiful part of the world, nestled in the rolling foothills of eastern Stanislaus County. In addition to wandering among the native wildflowers on the banks of the lake, people who visit the area love camping, picnicking, fishing, swimming, boating, and water skiing here. Turlock Lake State Recreation Area is open every day of the week from 8am to 7pm.
