Fort Tejon State Historic Park is pet-friendly. Located in the Grapevine Canyon, this fort was originally garrisoned in 1854 as a military station to protect white settlers from raids by Native Americans in the area, and was abandoned ten years later. Fido is welcome to join you on the grounds as you explore the buildings that still remain mostly intact to this day. The park grounds are open from sunrise to sunset and the park itself is open from 9am to 4pm daily.
