If you want to get even closer to the famous Hollywood sign than Lake Hollywood Park, you and your leashed pet can hike the Griffith Observatory Loop from Griffith Park. Providing outstanding views of the Hollywood sign and the LA Basin, this hike is popular with tourists and locals alike. It’s a 6.5 mile, 3-hour hike from Bronson Canyon in Griffith Park. The walk is mostly along fire roads and not clearly marked, so study a map ahead of time.
