Dogs are allowed at Fort Ord Dunes State Park. Built around the remains of Fort Ord, this state park stretches over 4 miles of coastline along Monterey Bay. Although pets are not permitted on the beach at Fort Ord Dunes State Park, Fido can join you on paved roads only and at the nearby Monterey State Beach, Asilomar State Beach, Carmel River State Beach, and Garrapata State Park. They are also permitted on paved roads in the park.
