Hurkey Creek Park is located 4 miles South East of a little town called Mountain Center off Hwy 74 in the San Jacinto Mountains. This beautiful park is a vast and remote getaway with plenty of luscious pine trees, seasonal creek, numerous trails, and stunning mountain views.
There are 130 campsites in the campground. There is a seasonal creek located within the park. Fishing is available nearby at Lake Hemet. Extensive hiking/biking trails are accessible from within the park. A small general store is located approximately 1 mile away. The campground also has large group areas with 5 separate loops that can accommodate 80-100 campers each.
Hurkey Creek Park is the ideal destination for any outdoor enthusiast. Whether it is an overnight stay or day visit everyone will experience to the superb outdoor adventures and spectacular events.
