Point Isabel Regional Shoreline boasts the largest public off-leash dog park in the US. With over 23 acres, the park is very popular with our four-legged friends, and welcomes over half a million dogs every year. The park is also popular for Fido's owner, with a variety of recreational options including bay fishing, hiking, birdwatching, biking, and jogging. Dogs may be taken off leash at Pt. Isabel Regional Shoreline. Any person allowing their animal to be off leash must carry a leash (six-foot maximum), keep their dog or other animal under voice control and within sight at all times, clean up after their dog, immediately leash any dog showing aggressiveness, and prevent dogs from digging or otherwise damaging park resources. The Sit and Stay Cafe, located on-site, is a great place to get a coffee and water after your walk. If your pooch gets really messy, you can also stop by Mudpuppies for a wash or grooming before getting back in your car.
