Dogs allowed on leash. Many miles of great hiking trails varying from flat to very steep. A 2200 foot climb to Simas Peak is rewarded with a fantastic view of the Salinas Valley and Monterey Bay.

Toro Park is Salinas' top location for horseback riding, mountain biking and other outdoor activities. 20+ miles of trails over 4756 acres. Over 100 geocache sites are located at Toro Park. It is also a popular spot for birding, and is a stop on the Central Coast Birding Trail.

Park for free just outside the main gate or inside for a per vehicle fee.
