Candlestick Point State Recreation Area is a pet-friendly park in an urban setting in San Francisco. The park is located just behind where Candlestick Stadium once proudly stood as the home of the Major League Baseball outfit, the San Francisco Giants. Dogs are welcome on leashes under 6 feet on all the trails in the park. You'll also find bathrooms, fitness stations, a sand beach, ponds, fishing, spots for windsurfing, picnic areas, barbecues, and hiking trails. Candlestick Point State Recreation Area is open 8:00am to 9:45pm.
