Dogs are allowed at Fremont Peak State Park. The park has a great view of Monterey Bay, San Benito Valley, Salinas Valley, and the Santa Lucia Mountains east of Big Sur. The woodlands in the area are home to lots of different birds and animals. Fido is welcome to join you at certain communal areas at this state park, including campsites and picnic areas. Unfortunately, pets are not permitted to join you on the trails. Fremont Peak State Park is open all year round from 8am until one and a half hours after Sunset.
