Gum Grove Park

1001 Crestview Ave, Seal Beach, CA, US, 90740

Gum Grove Park is a 10 acre gem that is sort of hard to find. All the locals that live in front of this park walk their dogs here and want it kept a secret. Why? Because it is one of the largest and best dog parks in the area. It is totally fenced in and has water and dog bags at the Avalon entrance. Plus, there are two parking areas for park users. The main entrance is on Avalon and the second and smaller one is on Herone Pointe off of Seal Beach Blvd. This park has a old closed main road that cuts through it at the base and many nice trails that are branching on the above sloping hill. Also, you can hike the Hellman Trail which dead ends about a quarter mile north. It is right at the entrance to the park. Just make sure to keep your dog on a leash, since local leash laws are always in effect.
