Emerald Bay State Park only allows dogs at the campground on a 6 feet leash. Unfortunately, pets are not permitted to enjoy the trails, roads into Emerald Bay, or the beach. The lake is known for its natural beauty, home to a number of little islands that dot the water and tree-lined mountains in the surrounding South Lake Tahoe area. Emerald Bay State Park is open from sunrise to sunset every day.
