Dogs are allowed at Great Valley Grasslands State Park, where they are welcome on a 6 feet leash. There is lots of interesting plants and vegetation in the park and people come from miles around to see the springtime wildflower display. Otherwise, you can indulge in some fishing or check out the wildlife in this undeveloped park. Also included in this area is the former Fremont Ford State Recreation Area. The Great Valley Grasslands State Park is open from 8am to 5pm.
