During the summer months until September, Northstar offers free lift rides for hiking and allows leashed dogs on the gondolas as well. It is beautiful and a wonderful family adventure. The village is very dog friendly, too. In the winter, In the winter, bring your dog to the mountain for the monthly Moonlight Snowshoe Tours. Your leashed pup is welcome to join you on the 2.5-hour snowshoe hike and then enjoy the music, s’mores, and hot chocolate around a fire pit.
