King Lake and Devils Thumb Loop Trail is a 14 mile hike in Roosevelt National Forest that will take about 13 hours to complete with Fido. This hike is for those people, and pups, who are in top-notch physical shape. It is best to get an early start off the trailhead at about 8am. Permits are required for overnight stays from Jun 1 through September 15, and leash laws apply all of the time.
