Located ten miles northeast of Craig, Elkhead Reservoir State Park is pet-friendly. The surrounding area is littered with rolling hills, farmland, and range land. Dogs are welcome on a leash on the trails, campgrounds, and camping areas at the park. Elkhead Reservoir is open every day of the week from sunrise to sunset.
