Pets are welcome at Paonia State Park. Although this state park doesn't have any trails, there are some trails nearby that you can trek together. There are two campgrounds located adjacent to the reservoir a this state park with picnic areas for members of the public and their pooches. You must keep Fido on a leash to protect the wildlife in the area, including chipmunks, squirrels, rabbits and other small mammals.
