Windy Peak Trail is a 4.5-mile hike in Golden Gate Canyon State Park that will take about 4 hours to complete with Fido. Although your dog must be kept on a leash, this beautiful hike will take you to 14,000 acres of meadows, forests, and peaks. Only 30 miles from Denver, these interconnected trails are a haven for hikers, bikers, and horseback riders. Some trails are specific to hikers only.
