Boyd Lake State Park is a pet-friendly recreation area that is hugely popular among local lovers of water sport. Dogs are welcome to join you at Boyd Lake, but should be kept on a leash and away from the swim beach section. There's a campground on-site that can be used by pets and their owners who want to extend their day trip. The park is always open to people fishing and campers in the campground, but all other users can gain access to the lake from 5am to 10pm.
