River Highlands State Park is a pet-friendly recreation area that overlooks the Connecticut River. You and Fido can use one of the dog-friendly trails to get to an overlook and bluff that is 150 feet above the river below, check out the noises made by the interesting blowhole, and cross over the numerous wooden bridges. River Highlands State Park is open every day of the week from 8am until sunset.
