Dogs are allowed on leashes at Nehantic State Forest. This was the first state park in New London County and is home to wooded areas, Norwich Pond, and Uncas Lake. You and Fido can relax next to the water at one of the picnic areas on the park. Nehantic State Forest is open every day of the week from 8am until sunset.
