George Dudley Seymour State Park is dog-friendly. This park is in memory of George Dudley Seymour, who dedicated his life to preserving land, contributing to the restoration and upkeep of eight different state parks and a state forest. This park is home to meadows, trees, and dog-friendly trails that lead to the Connecticut River Tidal Flat and a couple of miles of river frontage. The park is open from half an hour before sunrise to half an hour after sunset.
