Dogs are allowed at Macedonia Park State Park, where you can hike the Blue Trail across Cobble Mountain. There are a number of other peaks in the park that offer stunning views of the Catskill and Taconic mountains. Fido is welcome on the hiking trails and in the picnic areas, but they are not permitted on the campgrounds at Macedonia Park State Park. You can check this park out every day of the week from 8am until sunset.
