Mount Tom State Park is pet-friendly in some areas. You can hang out with Fido on the trails or in the picnic areas, but dogs are not allowed on the beaches or in the water. One of the best things to do at this park is to hike to the stone watch tower and look out across the water and surrounding areas. Mount Tom State Park is open every day of the week from 8am until sunset.
