Dogs on leashes can join their owners in the picnic areas of Silver Sands State Park in Milford. This state park is known for being a great habitat for a number of different sea birds and is full of sandy beaches and boardwalks. Unfortunately, pets are not permitted on the beaches or boardwalks. The park is open every day of the week from 8am until sunset.
