Lake Waramaug is a pet-friendly state park located in the small rural village of New Preston, Connecticut. The park is hugely popular during fall when the leaves start to turn on the banks of the lake creating the perfect setting for a photo shoot with Fido. Pets are permitted in picnic areas in the park, but are not allowed on the campgrounds or on the beach. Lake Waramaug is open every day of the week from 8am until sunset.
