Dogs are welcome at Waldo State Park, where 150-acres has been set aside on the banks of Lake Lillinonah for preservation and recreation. You and Fido can enjoy a number of activities in the area, including fishing, hiking, horseback riding, hunting, and mountain biking. As with most Connecticut State Parks, you must keep your pooch on a leash under seven-feet while they are inside the park. Waldo State Park is open every day of the week from 8am to sunset.
