Abbott's Mill Nature Center has been connecting people to the natural world to improve our environment through education, advocacy, and conservation since 1981. A partnership between the Delaware Division of Historical & Cultural Affairs, Delaware Division of Fish & Wildlife, and the Delaware Nature Society, a local non-profit, Abbott's features a preserved, working grist mill, a 20-acre pond with a public boat launch, a Visitor Center with taxidermy and live animal collections, and five miles of hiking, biking, and dog walking trails.
