143 GA-17, Clarkesville, GA, US, 30523

Dogs are allowed on the nature trails and outdoor areas at Hardman Farm State Historic Site. The iconic Unicoi Turnpike, once a Native American trail, will take you through historic farm landscape, where both early Native Americans lived and later on the Nichols and Hardman families’ built their mansion. You can't go inside any of the buildings with Fido, but you can enjoy wandering around the grounds and checking out the Native American mound that still stands tall. The park is open March through December on Thursday through Sunday from 10am to 4pm. The fee for entrance into the park is $12 per adult.
