Jarrell Plantation State Park

711 Jarrell Plantation Road, Juliette, GA, US, 31046

Jarrell Plantation State Park is home to a number of pet-friendly historic trails. Unfortunately, Fido isn't welcome in the historic buildings that are dotted along the trails, but that doesn't mean you can't travel back in time together on the trails. The history trail leads through a village which used to house many slaves who were forced to work on the farm. Like many plantations in the state, this is a stark reminder of the despicable slave trade that was ongoing in the not-so-distant past and the exploitation that took place during this time. Adults will be charged a fee of $6.50 to enter, but dogs enter for free. Jarrell Plantation State Park is open Thursday through Saturday from 9am to 5pm.
