Named for a Revolutionary War hero, Elijah Clark State Park is located on the shores of Clarks Hill Lake. The park offers 4 boat ramps, a fishing piers, tent camping and almost 4 miles of hiking trails. The park welcomes dogs as long as they are on a leash no longer than 6 feet; however, they are not permitted in or around historic sites, lodges, group camps, or swimming areas. For those interested in pet friendly accommodations, select cottages allow up to 2 pets for a fee of $45. Pet friendly camping options are also available.
