Dogs are welcome at Providence Canyon State Park. You can bring Fido with you to enjoy more than ten miles of trails that delve into Georgia's 'Little Grand Canyon'. The colorful canyons are an unusual natural phenomenon that are well worth the visit. If you don't fancy too much walkies, you can enjoy the picnic areas as well. Visitors are warned to be careful of the trails in certain weather as the ground can erode and become treacherous. Providence Canyon State Park is open September 15 through April 14 from 7am to 6pm and April 15 through September 14 from 7am to 9pm. Visitors will be charged a $5 parking fee.
