Fort Morris Historic Site is a dog-friendly attraction. This 67-acre park is home to a nature trail and a number of pretty picnic spots. You and Fido are invited to borrow binoculars and a field guide to go birding in the area as well, where you may spot some downy woodpeckers, pileated woodpeckers, goldfinches, wood storks, painted buntings, great egrets, or one of the many other coastal species that call the area their home. The fee for entry into the park is $4.50 for adults. Fort Morris Historic Site is open Thursday through Saturday from 9am to 5pm.
