Resaca Battlefield Historic State Site is a 483-acre dog-friendly park with four miles of walking trails. Steeped in history, the area was once the site of a bloody battle during the civil war where many men lost their lives. Resaca Battlefield Historic State Site is open Friday through Sunday from 7am to 8pm.
